DA Approved Site for Mascot’s Office Tower Sold

The site of Mascot’s Healthiest and Most Productive Office Tower has now been sold by Tipalea Partners to the adjoining property owner. The new owner has now amalgamated a mega-development site of 3.8 hectares.

The DA for ‘Fifty Kent was approved in September last year by Bayside Council. Set to be Mascot’s first WELL pre-certified office building, the building will deliver 18,000 square metres of brand-new commercial space over six levels, on top of a three-level carpark podium for 238 cars. Generous floorplates of 2,900 square metres offer a flexible design to accommodate both whole-floor and multi-floor tenants, with the potential for inter-floor stairway connectivity.

Designed by Sissons Architects, 50 Kent Road’s architectural aesthetic has been inspired by aviation and aims to both maximise the views and natural light offered by the elevated site.

According to leasing agents Colliers International, a range of corporates are expected to be attracted this exciting new space, conveniently located on the corner of Kent Street & Coward Street just 360m from the train station.

“In terms of connectivity, this location is unbeatable with Westconnex and the M5 Motorway close by in addition to Mascot train station and the airport, with the added benefit of substantial parking on-site,” said Michael Crombie of Colliers International.

With strong ESD credentials, a spacious rooftop recreation area and free yoga classes for tenants, the tower has been designed to focus on health and wellbeing of occupants, as well as generating a range of environmental benefits.

On-site security with on-demand security escort to Mascot train station, increased lighting and CCTV within carparks and common areas are just some of the measures that will be put in place to maximise comfort for tenants.
