Developed by Tipalea Partners, Marian Town Centre opened in April, 2014 and comprises a 5,600 m2 neighbourhood shopping centre anchored by a full-line Woolworths supermarket with 18 specialty shops including The Reject Shop, Subway, medical precinct, multiple take away food options, bottle shop, butcher, tobacconist and services including a gym and ATMs.

Marian Town Centre dominates its trade area as the only full-line supermarket offering, which is reflected in its financial performance.

Independent of the main centre, but adding to the Town Centre environment are numerous “pad sites” which have also been developed or sold by Tipalea Partners including a Woolworths Service Station, Petit Early Learning Child Care Centre, a Mitre 10 Hardware store and a three hectare residential subdivision.

In April 2016, Tipalea Partners negotiated the sale of Marian Town Centre to ASX listed SCA Property Group for $32m representing a passing initial yield of 7.0%. Other pad sites of the Woolworths service station, child care centre and car wash were sold off separately.
