Our extensive research in 2015 identified a significant network gap in Hobart for Coles which led to Tipalea acquiring a site in Glebe Hill / Howrah.
With a catchment of over 22,000 people within the Howrah growth corridor of southeast Hobart, Glebe Hill Village responds to this untapped demand by delivering a new standard of convenience retail in what is the first neighbourhood shopping centre development in metropolitan Hobart in almost a decade.
The centre will be anchored by the latest generation, full line supermarket of 3,500m² which will be the best supermarket in Tasmania.
The high exposure site sits on the corner of Pass Road and the South Arm Highway linking the eastern suburbs of Hobart to the city.
Glebe Hill Village will comprise a Coles supermarket of 3,500m² and around 15 specialty stores of 2,100m² in total and 300 easily accessible car parks.
