Tipalea acquired a prominent site in the Glebe Hill/Howrah region for a new neighbourhood shopping centre after its research identified a significant supermarket network gap in Hobart.
With a catchment of over 22,000 people within the Howrah growth corridor of southeast Hobart, Glebe Hill Village responds to this untapped demand by delivering a new standard of convenience retail in what will be the first neighbourhood shopping centre development in metropolitan Hobart in almost a decade.
The centre will be anchored by the latest generation, full-line supermarket of 3,500 m2 and will arguably be the best supermarket in Tasmania.
The high exposure site sits on the corner of Pass Road and the South Arm Highway linking the eastern suburbs of Hobart to the city.
Glebe Hill Village comprises a full line supermarket and 15 specialty stores of 2,100 m2 with 300 easily accessible car parks.
